This is to inform you, that in view of the Hon’able High Court’s directions, the new Safe Transport Policy for Students (STRAPS) is to be followed for the transportation of the school children. This policy permits the use only of those buses, mini cabs and scooter rickshaws, that are duly authorized as contract carriages by the STA Chandigarh. Scooter Rickshaws are not allowed to carry more than 4 children and must carry a prominent notice saying that it is carrying school children.
